The U-Flyte team partnered with colleagues from Maynooth University’s DPERM project and Leitrim County Council to collect drone data following a landslide in County Leitrim, Ireland. This drone survey was one of the most extensive surveys undertaken to date using the DJI M300. The data will be used to assess the extend of the damage caused by the landslide, while 3D point cloud data derived from LiDAR will give an up-to-date digital terrain model (DTM) and digital surface model (DSM) that can be shared with local authorities and engineers for emergency response management.
